General
This menu is visible to all employees irrespective of employee role. Following are the details of the items in this menu:
Home
All Corporate messages, posted by administrator, are displayed here. Messages are displayed in descending order of date. Older/ newer messages can be viewed by navigating between pages. Date on which the messages was posted and name of person who posted the message is displayed along with the message.
Hourly Entry
Users fill their time sheet here by giving the details of the tasks performed in a day, while entering their in time and out time, which helps us derive their attendance. User enters his daily work details after selecting his relevant project, task, task type and hours spent for each work/task. If user has been allocated tasks by his manager, then pre-populated tasks can be seen here which helps user to complete his time sheet by just entering hours against each task, thus saving his time while filling timesheet. User can also put entries in back days. Back days entry is restricted to the number of days that have been defined by the admin. Entries have been restricted for future dates. If a person is on leave, his entries are automatically made against ‘Holiday’ and ‘reason of leave’. User can also mark whether he did some original task or has reworked. This helps the administrator to know the time spent and reason of rework. Such details can be later used by admin to refine the process so that rework is minimized.

Leave Application
Here users apply for leaves and track their approved/ rejected leaves. Mentioning start date and number of leaves along with a reason and type of leave does it all. Separate lists of all approved and rejected leaves along with balance leaves, helps user to keep a track of his leaves. User can apply leave for any one leave category out of 4 categories, at a time. If there is not sufficient number of leaves then the system does not allow the user to apply. For each category of leaves, balance no. of leaves is displayed. A user can also apply for his leave cancellation which is required to be approved. However cancellation of leaves has to be done in full. Partial cancellation is not allowed. Whenever a leave is applied, a mail is sent to the reporting officer of an employee with a copy to super admin. The mail has links for approval and rejection of leave so that the managers can approve/reject leaves via email. If user has taken leave without applying in advance, he can apply for the same in back date. This way, cumulative leaves or balance leaves can be maintained.

View Policies
Users visit this section to know their company better in terms of policies. Users can view policies only if admin has posted any. There are 10 types of policies. User can select a particular policy to view its details along with date on which the policy was posted.
Address Book
Contact details of all employees of a company are listed here thereby making it easier for employees to contact each other. Employee’s date of birth and date of joining are also displayed so that the peers do not miss to celebrate these occasions. Employee details, like name, email id, Date of birth, date of joining, reporting officer, address, contact no, PAN no etc are displayed here.
Incident Management
All incidents related to a project are recorded and displayed here. Team members of a project can start a new incident and post reply to existing incidents. He can also escalate and close an incident. On posting an incident an intimation mail is sent to all the members of the project. Members can respond to the post by just replying to the mail. On escalation, mail is also sent to admin. While posting an incident, users can upload utmost 3 files. So this feature can also be used for sharing documents related to project. The documents shared here can be project specification, project plan, progress report, change request tracker, error sheet, screen grabs of errors etc. Once an incident is completed, it can be posted with a final comment. Older/ newer incidents can be viewed by navigating between pages and by selecting incident summary which briefly defines the incident. Users can also view and reopen closed incidents whenever necessary. More people can be added to the incident as and when required. Existing members of the incident can be removed anytime. Both company employees and client employees can be added to the incident. Thus an incident may be made private for the company and cannot be view by the client. There can also be client only incidents to discuss financials or other critical aspects of the project.

Daily Task Allocation
This option enables managers and Project Leaders to allocate task to their team. After selecting a project and its related task, manager can allocate tasks to his resources for a given date or range of dates. Tasks which are allocated to a resource can be seen by that particular resource in his hourly entry page, for the selected date. If a task is allocated for a range of dates, then its time is divided equally among the days excluding the weekly off days. Manager can also define whether the task is original or rework.
Admin
This menu is available only to the administrator. Following are the details of items in this menu:
Project
This facilitates creation or editing of new and existing projects respectively. While creating a project, admin can define the project name, deadlines, task breakup, resources etc. Managers can break the project into various tasks. Each task has a start and end date. This helps in developing the project in modules and also helps the managers to track the completion percentage of the project. Here, resources can also be allocated to the project and a project leader can be defined among the various resources that have been allocated o the project. Manager can update status of project to open/closed/implemented. A project can also be defined in terms of financials. There are three categories in which a project can fall in terms of financials viz. Billable/ Closed/IsGeneral. The client delivery date, expected delivery date and implementation date helps to keep an eye on health of the project. The warranty Expire date helps to manage the post-implementation maintenance phase.
Employee
Adding or editing details of all employees is done here. Employee details include name, address, contact no, email id, reporting officer, date of birth, PAN number etc. Details entered in this page can be viewed in General -- Address book. The admin can also control the no. of back days in which hourly entry for time sheet is allowed for each employee. Admin can disable employee who might have resigned. It also facilitates building up the hierarchy which is used for leave and attendance management. Admin can use this screen to grant access permissions of this tool. Once the details of an employee have been added to the system, he shall start using this tool. Admin can also grant permission to just fill the time sheet and no access to the message boards etc.
Leave Allocation
This is to allocate leaves to employees. Admin can allocate leaves to each employee for each category of leave. After allocation of leaves, employee’s leave balance is updated and displayed. Admin can also put remarks while allocating leaves. 4 types of leaves are allocated by the system. Each type of leave may have different number of days for different employees. User can apply for a type of leave only if the number of days is greater than zero.
Leave Approval
Lists leaves applied by employees and facilitate their approval, rejection and explanation.
Post Policy
This is to post policies of the company. Policies which are viewed in General -- View policy are posted in this screen. Admin selects a category and posts a policy. The content of policy has to be HTMLEncoded.
Set Holidays
Useful for defining holidays like weekly off for each employee. Here admin can view any or all employees’ holidays, weekly off and leaves within a specified date range. Admin can also post a leave, holiday or weekly off for any employee for a particular date. There is also a provision to modify or delete any holiday, leave or weekly off
Client Details
It holds client name and his contact details. Company's clients can be created / edited in this page with relevant client details like his name, email id, address, contact no etc. Any client created in this screen can be selected while creating / editing a project. Clients which are added to a project can participate in incidents and receives email alert when an incident is posted.
Monthly Attendance Report
It facilitates sending attendance report to employees via email. Admin can send attendance report to all or selected employees for the selected date range. The report indicates employee's leaves, weekly off, company holiday etc.
Company Detail
Visit this to edit details of your company.
Message Board
This menu holds messages posted by admin or employees in various categories. Following are the details of items in this menu:
General
General messages, like birthday wishes, posted by users, are displayed here. This may be considered as fun zone where employees can celebrate various events by sending messages. Messages posted here will be visible to all employees.
Technical
All Technical messages posted by users are displayed here. Employees may use this message board to share technical problems and their solutions. Appropriate use of this may become a library which can be referenced when users are stuck.
Corporate
Corporate messages or announcements posted by admin are displayed here. These messages are displayed in the home page.
Post Message
It facilitates posting and deleting messages in different categories. General users can post only General and Technical messages. Corporate messages can be posted only by administrator. User can delete only the messages that have been posted by him.
Reports
Report Daily
It displays details of tasks performed by employees on each day in a given date range.
Hourly Summary
Enables employee to view his attendance for a given date range.
Employee Project Summary
Displays hours spend by an employee in different tasks of each project.
Dashboard
It displays all details of a project including client details, budgeted hours, delivery date, percentage completion, estimated hours, hours left, task wise details etc. This is quite useful for monitoring a project.
Health Report
It depicts health of a project in terms of estimated hours, hours completed, hours left, project start date, project end date etc.
Current/ Billable Project Summary
Displays total hours spend by all employees in each task of a project that has not been completed yet.
Closed/ Non Billable Project Summary
Displays total hours spend by all employees in each task of a project that have been completed.
Attendance
You may view attendance ie. In time, out time and net time of one or all employees.
Project Summary
Gives consolidated view of total hours, total days and percentage hours of one or all employees.
Status Update
It shows when and by whom the percentage of completion of project was updated.
